Child Watch is a service included in a family membership. Children ages 6 weeks - 9 years are welcome to come to child watch while you are taking some time to enjoy what the John R. Grubb YMCA has to offer.
Child Watch is a great place for children to interact with others, build relationships with staff, even work on developmental skills. Did you know that even when a child is playing they are learning? Our Child Watch provides different areas where children can grow. They can be creative in our block/building area and learn to problem solve, or develop fine motor skills by coloring, drawing, using a chalk board. They can use their imagination in our dramatic play area. What child doesn't want to be "Batman" or a "Princess"?
We love to get children involved and make Child Watch a safe, fun place to be.
