For the last 4 years, the Y Teen Leadership Club at Merrill Middle School as hosted a Cocoa Café to help raise money for the Y Partners campaign. This year, the 14 teens in club are actively dedicated to reaching their goals. In preparation for the Café, the club did worksheets to make sure they were prepared and crisp with their math skills, made fliers and posters to advertise and made announcements each morning and afternoon. The teens set a goal for themselves of raising $200 over the course of one month during the Y Partners campaign. After Day 1 of the Cocoa Café, the Y Teens were at 28% of their goal raising $56.50! Stop by after school, for the next 4 weeks on early out Wednesdays 1-1:30pm to help support the Y Teens at Merrill Middle School raise money for Y Partners! Hot Cocoa is only $1, add a topping of your choice for only $.25, we offer whip cream, peppermints and marshmallows!!!
