2010 Adult Volunteer
Edwyn Daye was named John R. Grubb's adult volunteer of 2010. Speaking out for the Y, Edwyn has impacted many individuals and raised significant funds for Partner With Youth. He shared his Y experience and the importance of Partner With Youth funds with attendees at the 2009 kick-off event and the 22nd Annual Bill Reichardt Golf Classic. Edwyn has also participated in the Fatherhood initiative, here at Grubb, for two years and serves as a facilitator for the Wednesday night group.
Thank You Edwyn for being so involved with the Grubb. Partner With Youth is our yearly campaign to help raise money to help families and children who are unable to afford the many benefits of the Y programing. The Fatherhood Initiative is also a very important part of the Grubb, helping fathers re-connect with their children. Edwyn has definitely exemplified what it means to be a part of the Y community.

Christmas at John R. Grubb
Thursday we had our annual Christmas Party here at the Grubb. Lots of families came out to enjoy crafts, food, a visit with Santa Claus and our Toys for Tots giveaway. We had such a great response for toys, I know this made for a very special Holiday season for the many children that received them. Enjoy the pictures and Happy Holidays to all!
